甲州印傳は山梨に古くからある印度伝来の伝統工芸品。鹿革に漆塗りでつけられた柄が特徴で、独特の触り心地が手に馴染む。柄は豊富にあってそれぞれにストーリーがあり、とんぼは勝虫と呼ばれ武士の鎧に装飾として用いられた柄。頑丈なので長く使える。

Koshu-inden is a 400 year old form of traditional leather work in Yamanashi. It's made out of soft deer skin with Japanese lacquer applied, giving it a unique texture. There are different types of prints and a background for each. Dragonflies are the symbol of victory and it was originally printed on the Samurai's armor. The leather is very durable, making it suitable for daily use.
